Mental Health Integration

Combining education with psychological support for holistic child development.

The Challenge We Face in Eastern Uganda

In mudslide-prone regions, young people face multiple barriers to education and wellbeing

Education Disruption

Recurring mudslides destroy school infrastructure and disrupt education for months at a time.

Trauma Accumulation

Natural disasters create psychological trauma without adequate mental health support services.

Poverty Cycles

Repeated rebuilding costs and lost education opportunities compound extreme poverty.

Limited Opportunities

Lack of secondary schools and vocational training limits future opportunities for youth.
